It’s Lent, what are you DOING?
Lent is here. We know that it is here because we went to Church on a Wednesday and got ashes smeared across our heads. So what does that mean now? Oh, that’s right, it means that the next 40 days are going to be a real bummer, because we can’t eat cookies or cake and we can’t drink pop or use Facebook or whatever horrible thing we decided to do. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We should be looking at these things we do as a great opportunity to something for our Lord, since He has clearly done so much for us. Also, (in case no one told you) you don’t actually have to give anything up for Lent, you could DO something.
And for those of you who are fresh out of ideas, you may want to take a look at the following articles from Life Teen.

The important thing to remember is that you DO SOMETHING this Lent. Do something out of the ordinary and every time you do that something, let it help you grow in your relationship with our Lord Jesus, who loves us beyond what we can comprehend.
