Moms In Touch International

Mom’s in Touch International is a group of mothers and fathers who meet every two weeks to pray for our children and our school. We pray that our schools may be guided by Biblical principles and high moral standards. No intention is too big or too small. We will take all intentions to the Lord in prayer. We are moms and dads who believe that prayer makes a difference. Contact Ann Laws at 419-867-0250 for more information.

Youth Group

High school students are invited to be a part of the St. Joan of Arc Youth Group. This program is designed to meet the spiritual, social, and service needs of youth. The group meets every Sunday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Watch the bulletin and the Time, Talent, and Treasure for information about the meetings and special events offered. For more information contact Paul Davis at 517-902-1011 or check out our Youth Group Page here.

Scouting

The parish offers a wide range of scouting opportunities for both boys and girls. Meeting dates vary by groups. Promoting duty to God, a positive self-image, working as a team, and developing leadership skills are goals for all scouts. For more information, contact:

Holy Name Society

This group is open to all men of the parish age 21 years and older.  Meetings are on the second Thursday of the month from September through June.  Our mission is to provide fellowship, support, service and an example of faith to the parish community.  Meetings are casual with the intent of getting to know men of the parish while providing service to our parish community.

Spirituality Commission

This group meets monthly to make recommendations concerning spiritual programs for parishioners of all ages.

50 And Over Group

St. Joan of Arc, St. Patrick of Heatherdowns and St. Joseph, Maumee have a mutual over 50 group. Meetings are held at St. Pat’s once a month. This group sponsors a variety of activities. One activity is an annual Wisdom Day, which is an annual day of spiritual reflection and fellowship. Watch for updates in the bulletin for meeting dates/times.

Ecumenical Bereavement Support Group

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph/Notre Dame House, 115 W. Broadway St., Maumee, Ohio.

The Ecumenical Bereavement Support Group is sponsored by St. Joan of Arc, St. Joseph-Maumee, St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, St. Rose-Perrysburg, Maumee United Methodist Church, St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran, St. Paul’s Episcopal, and St. Luke’s Hospital. We invite those who have lost a loved one through death to our monthly support group meeting.

Our mission is to offer a support system to people who are grieving the death of a loved one. Our goals are to create an environment for hospitality, love and trust; to provide a qualified speaker for monthly meetings; to promote self-help through sharing and discussion; and to offer on-going support as long as a person desires it.

We ask for volunteers from each sponsoring church to help facilitate support group meetings, provide hospitality during the meetings, become a member of the Bereavement Team, to plan the meetings, and provide publicity for the meetings. For more information contact Terri Pastura 419-866-6181.
